$2M Rural Health Network Development Planning Program – The purpose of this program is to promote the development of integrated health care networks in order to 1. achieve efficiencies 2. expand access to and improve the quality of basic health care services 3. strengthen the rural health care system as a whole.

Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) has a new program for $40K Rocky Mountain CESU which requires developing research to assess the vulnerability of species to environmental change.

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models to aid the development of generic inhalation products – The purpose of this grant is to use CFD to produce verified and validated predictions of regional lung deposition for currently marketed inhalers.

Manufactured Food Regulatory Program Alliance – This FDA program has 4 parts to it and the first one is to Assist FDA in meeting provisions of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act.

$50M WASH Research and Learning – The purpose of the activity is to carry out and ensure the use of implementation research, and to provide high-quality and sector-specific analytical, technical, and evaluation services to United States Agency for International Development (USAID) missions.

$8.7M Promoting Population Health through Increased Capacity in Alcohol Epidemiology & the Prevention of Excessive Alcohol Use – The purpose of this program is to build capacity in alcohol epidemiology in states and provide the tools and information needed to perform public health functions related to excessive alcohol use prevention in states.

$8M Strengthening Breastfeeding Support by Coordinating National Efforts and Building Capacity of Breastfeeding Coalitions – This opportunity aims to improve breastfeeding initiation, duration, and exclusivity and to decrease racial/ethnic disparities in breastfeeding by coordinating a national approach which engages state-level breastfeeding coalitions in all states and U.S. territories.
